Brookmoor Estates HOA

On the evening of January 14, 2008, at the Reconvened Annual Meeting of 2007, an election was held by the Brookmoor homeowners to install their first Homeowner Association Board. Previously, the Board was controlled by the Declarant (Developer) as indicated in the CCR&E’s (Conditions, Covenants, Restrictions & Easements).

The stipulation was that until a certain percentage of lots were sold, the Developer would control the Board. Since that percentage had been exceeded, it was time for the Homeowners to take an active part in the operation of the Board.

The election was to be held by proxy and/or the actual presence of Homeowners to cast votes. The votes were cast and counted, the new board consists of Mike Brennan, Ed Blohm, Rhonda Brennan, Ron Cypert, and Patrecia Minetti.

Committees:

Committees are made up of groups of residents who volunteer to help to make Brookmoor an exceptional place to live. We list these committees and who is a part of their makeup for your information.

Legal Advisor to the Association:
  • L. Douglas Beatty, P.C.
This committee advises the Board on legal matters.

Architectural Review Committee:
  • Mike Brennan
This committee is responsible for maintaining the “quality control” of the appearance of Brookmoor insofar as reviewing all proposed architectural changes that are reflected in the appearance of all structures. If a Homeowner is going to have some work done that reflects in the external appearance of their home or lot, it must be cleared through the ARC prior to commencing any changes.

Budget Committee:
  • Ed Blohm
  • Patrecia Minetti
  • Chet Sulewski
This committee is responsible for balancing expenditures with income. It is also responsible for the submission to the Board of a proposed annual budget. Additionally, it is enjoined to ensure that the flavor of Brookmoor Estates is maintained through the judicious expenditure of funds to maintain the “maintenance free” aspect of our community.

Hospitality Committee:
  • Tammy Beatty
  • Missy Cypert
  • Lena Callender
This committee is responsible for trying to effect the social bonding of our community. Their goal is to welcome new neighbors and to get to know the residents of Brookmoor. To that end they will profile one family per issue so that we can get to know each other. They would like inputs of “special news” that could be shared with all of us such as illness, hospital stays, or a neighbor that needs some “special assistance” that we can volunteer for.

Newsletter Committee:
  • Bernard Minetti
This committee is responsible for informing our community through the publication of a newsletter that contains informative items. Noteworthy events may be written by any resident or called in to the committee for publication. All inputs will be screened for appropriateness and edited for content, grammar, and space availability. Pictures in digital .jpg format may also be submitted for publication.
Volunteer reporters are most welcome. Just sign up for the Newsletter Committee.
